"The only freedom which deserves the name, is that of pursuing our own good, so long as we do not attempt to deprive others of theirs..."

"The only freedom which deserves the name, is that of pursuing our own good in our own way, so long as we do not attempt to deprive others of theirs, or impede their efforts to obtain it." — John Stuart Mill

Too many people today feel that rights and freedom are things given to them by the government. "I have a right to health care!" they moronically bellow out of their mouths without so much as a thought in their cobweb-encrusted brains as to where that health care would come from.

"So what if it costs other people money? I deserve it. It's my right! Everyone else should have to pay for me!" They are the same idiots who, in the past, reasoned that slaves aren't full human beings and no one should worry about their rights. These are the same cretins who would vote for Hitler just as they did Obama when they were promised endless bread and circuses. These are the same parasitic sheep who caused the fall of Rome and western civilization for a thousand years by demanding more and more 'rights' paid for by the theft from productive members of society.

I would say what is the world coming too, but it's apparently always been this morally and ethically retarded.
